Why do you do this? A simple question with a not-so-simple answer.
In my work with animal rescue and nonprofit organizations over the years I have found that there are generally three legs to the stool- Donations, People, and Facilities. I am always struck at how many amazing and generous people donate and volunteer to help. Facilities, however, have always been a huge need in nearly every situation, especially with large animals. Most people don’t know that very few organizations have any dedicated facilities or real estate at all, and the ones that do are often always at capacity or overloaded. The glaring need of facilities is the reason I started Rescue Ranch Animal Sanctuary.
Matching animal rescue and real estate is our focus at Rescue Ranch Animal Sanctuary. We know the more real estate and facilities we develop the more animals we are able to save. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, train, and rehome animals in need. We seek to fundraise for, acquire, develop, and operate real estate for animal rescue. We seek to implement programs and services at our property aimed to benefit animal welfare. We also seek to partner with other animal nonprofits in need of facilities to be able to benefit them with our resources. The sky is the limit with the positive impact we can have. The number or dogs, horses, and other animals we can save is enormous, but faced with the daunting statistics of animals in terrible situations and euthanized every year makes us strive even harder.
Personally, It has always been very important to me to give back where and when I can. Over the years I have done my best to find time to help worthy causes. The more nonprofit organizations, generous donors, and volunteers I have been fortunate enough to meet the more it has shown me how important it is and how much good we can do.
It has become so important to me to make a difference that I have prioritized my life to place this at the forefront. My professional experience in executive management, finance, operations, and real estate development have prepared me well to guide the vision and mission of this organization. During my professional career in one way or another I have been involved in nearly every aspect of what we do. I have had great success and will do everything in my power to bring benefit to this organization. I hope I can bring integrity and honor as well as success to Rescue Ranch.
There is no worthier of endeavors than helping animals in need. What we do is inherently right, positive, and good.
So this is my promise to you; I will give you everything I have, every ounce of strength, every last bit of energy, everything possible. To say I care greatly about this is an understatement. I know with your help and the help of other good people that we will get there.
So the answer to that question is multitude; I do this because it’s needed. I do this for others. I do this because I can help. I do this because I’m motivated. But most simply it comes down to this-
I do this because it’s the right thing to do.
I thank all of you for your generosity, effort, and heart. Now let’s get to work,
