Our Grooming Program refers to both the hygienic care and cleaning of our animals, and as a process by which an animal’s physical appearance is enhanced for showing and rehoming. Grooming helps keep our animals healthy and ready for a forever home. Grooming practices like brushing, bathing, and nail trimming are essential to maintain the health of our animals. Despite the serious consequences of inadequate grooming for pets, including skin infections, strangulating hair mats, and restricted and painful movement (caused by dense hair mats and overgrown claws or hooves), pet owners may not have access to the resources they need to keep their pets healthy. We want to fill that need by providing grooming services to our rescue animals and those within the community.
