Our Spay and Neuter Program is super important for protecting animals in our shelters and within the community. We use the procedure to ensure our animals won’t reproduce to help reduce pet overpopulation. Every year, millions of unwanted animals are euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters. Spaying and neutering prevents unwanted litters, helps protect them against serious health problems, and reduces many of the behavioral problems associated with the mating instinct. By having our animals sterilized, we will do our part to prevent the birth of unwanted animals.
